  • Overview

    This position is responsible for the development and execution of integrated marketing plans, budgets, and promotional campaigns for multiple product/service lines while ensuring proper brand image across all
    marketing/promotion communications.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Develop and manage all marketing plans, project briefs, and programs for multiple product/service line marketing, including but not limited to collateral and promotional materials, sales tools, electronic
      communications, advertising, cross-promotional opportunities, website, video, exhibits, PR, social media, and any other delivery channels.
    • Create, write, edit, and produce compelling product positioning and messaging (product/service benefits) including value propositions that differentiate NACE products/services in the marketplace.
    • Develop and manage multiple product/service line marketing budgets.
    • Review and analyze marketing campaigns, through response rate, sales, and tracking information to ensure the most cost-effective marketing efforts are being implemented and/or modifying strategies to achieve revenue goals.
    • Develop distinct customer segmentation profiles, including purchasing behavior, product interest(s), professional focus, demographic information, and monitor the activity of the segments, making adjustments to promotional strategies as customers respond to promotional campaigns. 
    • Collaborate with Market Research and product owners to survey, measure, and analyze customer needs and satisfaction. 
    • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of competition for multiple product/service lines.


    • Solid experience managing multiple product line marketing responsibilities to meet or exceed budgeted revenue
    • Product line marketing plan creation and budget development and management
    • Strong knowledge of marketing concepts, strategies, and channels – direct mail, advertising, video, web, mobile, social media
    • Excellent analytic skills and strong marketing data-driven approach
    • Strong creative messaging, promotional copywriting/copyediting/proofreading skills
    • Strong knowledge of tracking, measuring, and analyzing marketing campaigns effectiveness and understanding of Google analytics
    • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and database applications (Microsoft CRM) Excellent organizational, planning, problem solving skills, and ability to multitask and effectively work under pressure
    • Some knowledge of graphic design and layout and production processes
    • Ability to travel 10%


    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related communications field and five to seven years’ experience developing, managing, budgeting, and successfully executing multiple product line marketing plans.


    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, members, employees of the organization, customers, and the general public.


    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.


    Must possess a specific level of communication skill both verbal and written. Have demonstrated personnel management skills including, but not limited to, the ability to evaluate staff performance and provide direction, is highly desirable. Ability to work in a multi-task environment taking into account various external factors and to communicate efficiently and accurately to both managers/supervisors and subordinate staff. Must be computer literate with knowledge and experience in word processing and spreadsheet softwares. Ability to
    learn and use association specific software.
